According to Indeed.com, the average hourly pay of tutors is $34.72 per hour in Stanford. With costs running up, a tutor would have to work longer hours, cutting into personal time and other commitments. This can be especially taxing to college students who would like to work part-time for extra income. The take-home pay may only barely cover the costs of tutoring, such as commute.
Cardinal Education offers the highest rate by far, at $60 per hour. This can go up depending on the expertise of the tutor. We also train tutors who will be working with us.
For professionals, we require a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, proficiency in the subject you wish to teach, and optional but strongly recommended, as well as previous teaching experience for test prep.
If you’re a student, we require you to be currently enrolled in an accredited university, proficient in the subject you wish to teach, and of good character. We may require a recommendation letter from a current professor.
