You can teach at one of our offices in Burlingame and Woodside or visit students’ homes for tutoring sessions. The average rate of tutors in Cupertino per hour is $30.57, but that will also depend on the tutor’s expertise and experience. It may go up to close to $48 maximum, but a tutor has to work more to strengthen their experience to get to that rate. This is not usually ideal for college students because even with experience, they are not usually considered professionals.
Cardinal Education is offering a $60/hour rate that can go up depending on the expertise, the highest so far in the Bay Area. We believe our tutors should still have a great work-life balance while earning significantly from a side job. We also offer trainings.
Professionals require a bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited university. We also need them to have proficiency in the chosen subject area, and while optional, it is highly recommended to have experience in tutoring and test prep.
For college student applicants, we require great grades, great character, and proficiency in the subject at the high school level. We may also require a recommendation from a current professor in the university.

We offer part-time tutoring jobs for college students who live near our offices in Burlingame and Woodside, preferably in Atherton, Hillsborough, Palo Alto, Stanford, San Mateo, Redwood City, and other surrounding areas.
College students and professionals have different struggles. College students have to go after requirements and studies, while professionals usually have a primary job and other commitments. Part-time tutoring is flexible, and with Cardinal Education’s high rate offer, part timing for hours on the weekends for a few hours can greatly supplement incomes while leaving time for other pursuits and studies.
