Eagle Hill roots its teaching philosophy in the belief that each human being is unique. This leads its faculty and staff to administer a learning-conducive environment that views learning disabilities not as a hindrance but as a distinct human aspect that needs individualized support.

At Eagle Hill, classes are designed around every student’s forte and needs. The school provides students with learning disabilities with an encouraging and intimate community that recognizes every individual, emphasizes learning diversity, and fosters international-mindedness. Whether it be academically, athletically, or socially, Eagle Hill strongly believes that personal growth and making decisions are best supported by deep-rooted ethics and values.

Eagle Hill School Admissions Requirements

Personal Statements

Families are required to submit their child’s student statement and a parent statement. Both parents and children are required to complete statements. Forms can be acquired from Eagle Hill Hardwick admissions officers or submitted through SAO.

A personal statement or an admissions essay is a response to given prompts or questions that serve as an opportunity for applicants to showcase their strongest suits and areas of interest. In simpler terms, your essay should be able to provide the admissions committee with insight as to why you deserve to be part of the Eagle Hill community. As we have been in the educational consulting industry for nearly two decades now, we have seen a lot of students fail to write a good narrative. As your trusted advisor, we will make sure you stand out in your application.

Writing Sample

Applicants are required to submit a graded essay from their school. The sample will be used to examine your child’s writing abilities and how their learning disability may impact it. If you think your child’s writing skills are not that outstanding, we recommend that they take our Program in Writing and Reading. This will allow them to learn how to be a curious, active reader, and significantly improve their writing skills. Our expert private school admissions consultants and tutors will help them develop their skills and be the best.

Recommendation Letters

Part of the Eagle Hill School application is submitting recommendation letters from English and Math teachers. Admissions officers will assess your child’s accomplishments as a student from the perspective of counselors and teachers. Emphasize best qualities and scholastic achievements! This is your chance to give Eagle Hill reasons why they should accept your child in their community. However, bear in mind that everything that is in the recommendation letters must be supported by your other credentials.

Recommendation letters set you apart from other applicants. Irrespective of how great of a student you think your child is, there will always be other students who might have the same or even better academic achievements. At Cardinal Education, we recommend our students carefully pick who will write their recommendations. As much as possible, choose teachers who know your child in and outside of school because this would allow them to highlight meaningful interests. Transcript

Your child’s transcripts will provide insight as to whether or not they are ready for an Eagle Hill education. What if the school records are not that outstanding? We suggest that you start your preparation early with the aid of academic coaches. However, keep in mind that exceptional grades alone will not guarantee a spot in Eagle Hill. At Cardinal Education, we provide our students with holistic academic advising and tutoring services. Through private school admissions consulting, we do not only help students get higher grades but also equip them with fundamental skills that will set them up for even greater success. We provide in-person or online diagnostic tests and tutoring services.
