BASIS Independent Manhattan is a private school for students from Pre-K to 12th grade that aims to bring together the rigorous content standards from various parts of the world with the spirit and creativity of American education. Currently, the BASIS curriculum has 40 schools globally. Students are exposed to a rigorous academic curriculum and can choose an elective as early as 6th grade and have foreign language options starting from 7th grade. Students are required to take Honors or Advanced Placement (AP) level coursework starting 9th grade. The school also offers virtual summer programs, partnership programs, and specialty camps. The athletics program is available for both Fall and Spring, with various sports to choose from in both seasons.
