What is Lick-Wilmerding High School’s acceptance rate?

Although Lick-Wilderming does not publish its acceptance rate, we do know that it is highly competitive. The school only accepts a small number of applicants each year, typically 140. The reason for the small number of slots is to ensure that the student body is made up of students who are sure to succeed in its rigorous academic environment. Taking into account that the school receives upwards of 1000 applicants for 9th grade only, LWHS aims to admit students who are positive that they will be spending the next 4 years with the school.
