Do international students have additional application requirements?

International students applying to Archbishop Riordan High School must fulfill the same general application requirements as domestic students. These include the submission of academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a personal statement. International students who are not native English speakers are required to provide evidence of their English language proficiency. This is typically done through submitting scores from a standardized English language test. The two most commonly accepted tests for this purpose are the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Depending on their country of origin, they may also need to provide specific visa and immigration documentation.
