Are After School Programs only about academics?

No! Although most schools do offer academic-based activities, it’s most often a mix of different activities to give students a holistic experience. Art-based activities can enrich a child’s imagination and creativity, such as art classes or music sessions, while social development activities can help develop a child’s emotional intelligence, such as group projects or team-based activities. It’s also common for after school programs to host different kinds of physical activities such as sports. This holistic approach ensures that students are of course engaged in the program, gain confidence they need, and maybe even discover a new interest or hobby!
