What is the Waldorf theory of education?

The main theory of the Waldorf education is that education is an artistic process. Waldorf School of the Peninsula does this by integrating practical, fine, and performing arts into its academic curriculum. By focusing on hands-on activities at a young age, the school develops its students’ creativity and imagination, and as they grow older, teaches them vital life skills such as critical thinking and independent judgment. All of these are done in respect to each child’s pace for they believe that kids develop at their own pace and it must not be hurried.
