How Many Mock Tests Should a Student Take Before an Exam?

Experts recommend taking at least 5-10 full-length mock tests before an exam. Depending on their degree of confidence and the test’s difficulty, some students may require more. Real progress can be seen if you space out your practice exams across a few weeks rather than cramming them at the last minute. Spend some time reviewing your mistakes and modifying your study strategy after every test. It’s possible that you won’t require as many if your scores are regularly high. However, further practice can assist if your scores are inconsistent. Simulating actual exam conditions can also be useful. Sit quietly, keep track of your time, and avoid distractions. This way, the exam will feel much less stressful when it finally comes around because it will feel like just another practice test.
