Want to know the best strategies for Asian American families to get into Wildwood School – Middle & Upper School? We can help!
Founded in 1971, Wildwood School has evolved with the times, with the STEM program being one of its lauded progress, which focuses on problem-solving in middle school and integrates math, science, and coding. In contrast, the upper school’s Wildwood Institute for STEM Research and Development (WISRD) offers hands-on research opportunities in astronomy, engineering, and data science, guided by experts from renowned institutions. Middle and upper school students are provided opportunities to develop their artistic skills through theater productions, music performances, and visual art exhibitions. They can participate in technical theater, compose and perform music, and showcase artwork in curated gallery shows. To hone their students’ motor skills and sense of team spirit, Wildwood also has a robust athletics program, which offers a variety of sports, with at least one sport available each season for all students, preparing young athletes for collegiate varsities. Wildwood’s Community Involvement program builds ethical citizenship by encouraging local and global advocacy through meaningful projects integrated into all school levels, with middle schoolers focusing on environmental and intergenerational efforts and upper school students required to complete service projects as graduation requirements. Wildwood School admissions require:
1. Submitting an inquiry form and making an admissions account on their website.
2. Go to an admissions tour.
3. Parent or Guardian Interview.
4. Student visit and assessment.
5. School transcripts.
6. Recommendation letters from the School Administrator, Math, and English teachers.
It’s hard to stand out in the private school admissions process with the fierce competition for the limited slots. We help Asian American families gain an edge with services such as interview prep, educational consultation, and tutoring.
